We were commissioned to create an album cover for Japan-based singer songwriter Anonymouz’s first album "No Name". She has been appearing on YouTube by posting English covers of J-pop songs without revealing her profile. As the title suggests, it was important to create artwork that reflected the secrecy of her identity through the design. Distortion was our key concept for the artwork, and we used images of a woman’s face mysteriously melting into each other.
