"Kimi wa Yogisha" is a new EP by Japanese singer songwriter Yuta Hashimoto, featuring a unique collaboration with trending manga artist Hina Sakurada. We designed both its visual identity and promotional material, including the album, exclusive photo book, poster and a specialised cover for its limited editions. It is a dark love song, hence the monochromatic visual approach was taken to express how being in love can turn one's mindset black and white. We also created a mini photobook of the artist. We wanted it to be a visually-lead book, so we used a modern layout with negative space and playful photo effects.
